In P.L.P.C. we undersand sanitation as something more than the lack of illness. We
understand it as a state of physicial, mental and social welfare.

We want our health system to be public, universal and of guaranteed quality.

We pronounce ourselves in defence of the SNS (Sistema nacional de salut/ Nacional health service), and we consider that his primary objecitve is to guarantee the constitutional right of the people of the protection of their health without any kind of discrimination. And not only in the reparative side but in prevention an promotion of health.

We defend a complete public system, without “hybrids” (co-pay etc.). And without privated health insurances, as we understand that health care is not merchandise but a right.

To achieve this we propose:

-To increase the financing of the health service in two points

-To increase the coberture of our health system to include optical, ortopedial and buco-dental health.

-To take measures in order to make rational use of the medicines

-To integrate the insurances of goverment employers, military and justice in the general
health system

-We reject the co-pay system

-To universalize the sanity as a no-contributibe delivery and a citizen right

-To create a committee of weird illness in order to no excludes anyone from the health
coberture.
